2019

  • October 2nd, 2019 We are happy to host Ryo Nakamura from Tokyo University for 2 months. His slides entitled « Containers Do Not Need Network Stacks » are available here.
  • October 1st, 2019 Jean-Romain Luttringer joins the group as a PhD student working on segment routing.
  • June 14, 2019 Julien Gamba, PhD student at IMDEA Madrid, presents his work titled "An Analysis of Pre-installed Android Software" to appear in IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy 2020. The paper is available here ici.
  • May 20, 2019, we host for one week Fabio D'Andreagiovanni as invited researcher. He will give a talk on "Optimization models and algorithms for managing UAV fleets for city surveillance and 5G coverage".

  • February 14, 2019 welcome to Renato Juacaba Neto who starts his PhD thesis in the group on nano-autonomous networks.
  • February 8, 2019 Thomas Holterbach (PhD student at ETH Zürich, Switzerland) presented his work "Blink: Fast Connectivity Recovery Entirely in the Data Plane" (accepted to USENIX NSDI 2019).
  • January 2019: Welcome to Odnan Ref Sanchez for his Post Doc in the team. He will work on the use of machine learning algorithms for BGP anomaly detection.

M. Nguyen is a scholarship student for IDEX Mobility Program - Master Internship of University of Strasbourg.

2008

  • Nov. 17th, 2008: Pascal Mérindol PhD defense. Title : Routage multi-chemins par interface d'entrée.
  • Nov. 1st, 2008: Our group welcomes Ibrahima Niang, Associate Professor at University of Dakar, Senegal for a short-term scientific visit.
  • Sept. 1st, 2008: Antoine Gallais is recruited as an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of ULP and the Networking and Protocols research team of LSIIT.
  • Apr. 4th, 2008 : Emil Ivov Petrov defends its PhD thesis. Titrle : Optimizing Real-Time Communications over the Internet Protocol.
  • Feb. 7th, 2008: SensLAB kick-off meeting. The LSIIT is chosen as one of the four sites of this sensor networks testbed.


2007

  • Sept. 1st 2007: Julien Montavont is recruited as an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of ULP and the Networking and Protocols research team of LSIIT.

  • We organized the CNRS Summer School ING2004
  • Thomas Noël coordinated the IPv6 project STIC-Asie with Japan 2004-06
  • Thomas Noël is the scientific coordinator of the joint CNRS-JST Mobility in Next All Wireless Internet project with Japan 2006-08
  • The team together with the Wide project is managing a large scale experimental service between France and Japan for supporting worldwide mobility
  • Jean-Jacques Pansiot is a member of the steering comity of the RTP Réseaux de Communication and then a member of the CNRS expert commitee ResCom
  • Thomas Noël obtains an "ACI jeune chercheur" grant
  • Thomas Noël is at the initiative of a large scale deployment of a wireless and Ipv6 network on the Osiris network of Strasbourg (more than 400 access points, and 10,000 users).
