The "Networking & Protocols" research team illustrates multiple aspects of its research thematics through several showcases:
Routing and control thematic
- The multicast hierarchical video showcase illustrates the capacity of each multicast client to auto-regulate his reception rate, depending on the network conditions. And consequently receive an optimal image quality.
- Multipath routing, paths selection and activation.
Mobility and wireless networks thematic
- The geolocalisation 802.11 showcase (French page) illustrates the possible applications for user communities, notably the positioning and guidance assistance.
- The Network Mobility (NEMO) and service discovery showcase (French page) carries out the concept of IPv6 NEtwork MObility Basic Support (NEMO BS) as well as the service discovery applied to the IPv6 mobile networks.
