  • Apr. 8th, 2013 : The group is hosting Yves Vanaubel (PhD student ULg) for a one week visit in the context of a PHC project. His talk on TTL-fingerprinting is available here.
  • Feb. 2nd, 2013 The group is hosting Thong Huynh (PhD student at Inje University, Korea) for a one month invited visit (PHC DCNSO project).
  • Oct. 15th, 2012: The team is hosting Stefano Vissichio (post-doc UcL) for a one week visit in the context of a PHC project. His talk on BGP reconfigurations is available here
  • Oct. 1st, 2012 : The team is hosting Pierre Francois (Researcher, Imdea, Madrid, Spain) for a one month invited visit. His talk "Ongoing stories in inter-domain routing" is available here.
  • Sept. 1st, 2012: Guillaume Schreiner joins the group as an engineer.
  • Sept. 1st, 2012: Cosmin Cobarzan joins the group as a PhD student to work on mobility for wireless networks in the Internet of Things.
  • Sept. 1st, 2012: Georgios Papadopoulos joins the group as a PhD student to work on energy effcicient schemes for wireless sensor networks.

  • Jun. 17th, 2009: Paper "Quantifying ASes Multiconnectivity using Multicast Information", co-authored by Prof. Jean-Jacques Pansiot is accepted at IMC 2009.
  • Nov. 17th, 2008: Pascal Mérindol PhD defense. Title : Routage multi-chemins par interface d'entrée.
  • Nov. 1st, 2008: Our group welcomes Ibrahima Niang, Associate Professor at University of Dakar, Senegal for a short-term scientific visit.
  • Sept. 1st, 2008: Antoine Gallais is recruited as an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of ULP and the Networking and Protocols research team of LSIIT.
  • Apr. 4th, 2008 : Emil Ivov Petrov defends its PhD thesis. Titrle : Optimizing Real-Time Communications over the Internet Protocol.
  • Feb. 7th, 2008: SensLAB kick-off meeting. The LSIIT is chosen as one of the four sites of this sensor networks testbed.
  • Sept. 1st 2007: Julien Montavont is recruited as an Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of ULP and the Networking and Protocols research team of LSIIT.

  • We organized the CNRS Summer School ING2004
  • Thomas Noël coordinated the IPv6 project STIC-Asie with Japan 2004-06
  • Thomas Noël is the scientific coordinator of the joint CNRS-JST Mobility in Next All Wireless Internet project with Japan 2006-08
  • The team together with the Wide project is managing a large scale experimental service between France and Japan for supporting worldwide mobility
  • Jean-Jacques Pansiot is a member of the steering comity of the RTP Réseaux de Communication and then a member of the CNRS expert commitee ResCom
  • Thomas Noël obtains an "ACI jeune chercheur" grant
  • Thomas Noël is at the initiative of a large scale deployment of a wireless and Ipv6 network on the Osiris network of Strasbourg (more than 400 access points, and 10,000 users).
